About Charles Shepherd
Charles Shepherd is a retired yet still very active Architectural designer and Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida and is the proud owner of Sun Country Group in Lakeland. A pilot, soldier, husband and handy-man, you name it, Charles has done it.
Charles started in the Design-Constrution business in 1954. By 1960 he was the designer and “trouble shooter” for a large local builder. Soon thereafter he became a licensed general contractor designing and building Custom Homes, Apartment Buildings, Restaurants, Warehouses and small Shopping Centers.
